SmartScape Design Lab joined the NUS x UQ Joint Symposium on Climate Resilience for Healthy Urbanism, an academic exchange jointly organized by the NUS Department of Architecture and the University of Queensland School of Architecture, Design and Planning. The symposium brought together researchers, staff, and PhD students from both institutions to discuss climate resilience, healthy urbanism, tropical design, and digital approaches to urban research.

The BLA design studio at the NUS Department of Architecture held a teaching and review session on 7 March 2025.

The session featured discussions on students’ design works, site analysis, landscape strategies, and climate-responsive approaches to urban and landscape environments.

Congratulations to Dr. Jinda Qi, Principal Investigator of SmartScape Design Lab, on receiving the NUS-SZ grant under the theme of Green Building & Health for the project “Balancing Dynamic Supply and Demand in Green Buildings: Intelligent Adaptation for Human-Centric Building Envelope Design.”
