Biography

Dr. You Peng is an associate investigator at the Sustainable Urban Development Laboratory, NUS Suzhou Research Institute, and a research fellow in the Department of Architecture, College of Design and Engineering, National University of Singapore. He received his PhD in Planning and Decision-Making Behavior from Eindhoven University of Technology and also undertook joint doctoral training at The Hong Kong Polytechnic University.

His research focuses on climate change and urban health, urban thermal environments, human-centered building and environmental design, multisensory environmental perception, and data-driven approaches to sustainable cities. He has published widely in international peer-reviewed journals, with particular interests in understanding how urban form, landscape restructuring, and environmental exposure influence human well-being and urban resilience.

Dr. Peng also serves as a Review Editor for Frontiers in Environmental Science and as a reviewer for journals including Landscape and Urban Planning, Building and Environment, Energy and Buildings, and Environmental Research.
